Biology Tutors
Our local Portland biology tutors help students with their biology labs and lab reports. Our tutors can help your student complete their homework, worksheets, and ace standardized exams. We offer college-prep biology help, including high school AP Biology.
All of our biology tutors are hand-selected. The minimum requirement for any tutor at Tutor Portland is a college degree or a current transcript showing proof of progression towards a degree. Our founder, Eric, knows what it’s like to struggle at biology. He hated biology in high school. And he didn’t do very well. (Eric didn’t have a tutor.)
Eric will be the first to tell you, though, that the biggest benefit of owning a tutoring company is having access to the brightest private educators in Portland, Oregon. Eric constantly pays for tutoring himself—because he sees the value of private, personalized education.
After meeting the minimum requirements, all prospective biology tutors go through an interesting interview process: they tutor the found himself. Eric sits through a session which each tutor and asses their character, ability in and passion for private education, and their knowledge of the subject area.
At Tutor Portland we believe that tutoring makes the grade. We are passionate about tutoring because we’ve seen it work so many times.
We also know that there are great resources out there for you to take advantage of. KhanAcademy is a great place for a student to brush up on their biology, chemistry, or algebra.
